Entries open 12 May and the run can be done, and your time recorded, at any time during the month of June. Entries close at midnight on 30 June 2020
Take part to support, celebrate and commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day - which distance will you choose? 10K, 5K, 2K or a nice walk?
We are using the virtual event to support our chosen VE Day charity, Help for Heroes, and all your registration fees will be donated to the charity. It is only £5 to enter and there is also the opportunity to make a separate donation. The first 50 entrants will receive a commemorative VE medal and the remainder will receive a distance medal.
On the day you can do a run of 10K, 5K, 2K (perfect for children) or, if you are not a runner, you can walk (with your dog, buggy etc).
How does it work?
Enter via this page. Your name will be uploaded to the results page and a link to the page will be emailed to all entrants on 1 June ready for you do your run and record your time.
Your name will be entered for each distance, 10k, 5k and 2K. Choose your distance and you can run anytime and anywhere in June. If you choose to walk the distance, you do not need to record your time.
When you have completed your run, find your name and correct distance on the race results page, verify your identity by entering your year of birth and upload your time/ strava/ garmin link (if you have one). See where you finish on the leaderboard.
